Barbara and family, we are so sorry for the loss of Harlan. He was a good man, friend and neighbor and will be missed by all. He was so proud of his new youngen, horse, and invited us out several times but unfortunately we never made it out. So sorry about that. He will always hold a place in my heart, as do his parents, as they and you, Barb, made me feel welcome in Wapello 47+ years ago. So sorry.

Barb & Family:

I'm so very sorry for the loss of Harlan. I'm proud to have known him. In fact I believe my life was better for having met Harlan. He was truly inspirational and hard working. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. His visiting the nursing home and the residents was inspiring on many levels. I'm comforted in knowing we will meet again. Harlan was that special.

May God bless you all in your time of sorrow. I pray your fond memories will keep him alive in your hearts for the rest of your lives.
